What Is the Horsemanship Nexus Projects?
Horsemanship Nexus Projects is an educational and industry-facing initiative by Aspire Equestrian Riding Academy.
It exists to create thoughtful, collaborative projects that explore how we teach, learn, and care for horses — bringing together equestrian professionals from across disciplines to share insight, challenge assumptions, and develop more intentional ways of working.
Each project focuses on a different layer of horsemanship:
from rider and handler awareness, to coaching practice, to the wider systems that shape equestrian culture.
At its core, Horsemanship Nexus Projects is concerned with connection — between horse and human, between theory and practice, and between professionals who rarely get the chance to learn from one another.
The outcomes of these collaborations take different forms: educational resources, reflective tools, practical frameworks, and community-led initiatives. What unites them is a commitment to considering the physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing of both horses and people, and to supporting more ethical, informed, and sustainable equestrian practice.
Horsemanship Nexus Projects is not about prescribing one way of working.
It is about creating space for dialogue, learning, and progress — where better questions lead to better outcomes for horses in our lives.
Each project stands alone — but together, they form a bigger conversation about the future of horsemanship.
