Meet the Team
At the heart of A Horsewoman’s Journal is a collaboration of professionals from diverse fields—horsemanship, equine bodywork, wellness, and creative writing—united by a shared passion for enriching the horse-human connection. This team blends expertise in practical training, personal growth, and storytelling to create a holistic resource. Together, we aim to inspire horsewomen to nurture self-awareness, foster ethical practices, and build deeper, more meaningful relationships with their horses.
Wiola Grabowska BHSAI/INT.T.
Coach at Aspire Equestrian Riding Academy,
A Horsewoman's Journal creator
Wiola, a certified equestrian coach, has been teaching since 1998 across the UK, Poland, Norway, Italy, and Portugal. In 2008, she launched a pioneering coaching program (Aspire Equestrian Riding Academy) and has since dedicated herself to inspiring horse enthusiasts of all ages.
Believing that commitment to developing feel, empathy, self-awareness and understanding of horse behaviour lead to ethical horsemanship, she created
A Horsewoman’s Journal to unlock potential many horse owners have. Originally from Poland, she lives in Oxfordshire, England with her partner, his two teenage daughters, and their three energetic dogs, embracing the art of step-mothering and delightful animal chaos.
